NEW ORLEANS – Another solid performance on the links sees the Texas State women's golf team atop the team leaderboard and Marine Griffaut in first on the players leaderboard after the second day of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate that is being held at the English Turn Golf & Country Club.

INDIVIDUALS
Griffaut shot an even par 72 on the day. She began with two birdies through her first four holes but then posted three bogies in a five-hole stretch. The freshman ended her day birding the par 4, 372-yard 18th hole.
 
Also shooting even par on Monday was Sasikarn Somboonsup behind three birdies.
 
Both Federica Tavelli-Westerlund and Halle Whitney carded 5-over 75s. Geraldine Wong rounded out the team scoring with a 6-over 68.
 
Competing as an individual, Noramol Nuchsila fired an even par 72 and Junia Gabasa posted a 4-over 76.

TEAM
Texas State was the only team to record a score below 300 in the second round at 10-over 298. Overall, the Bobcats are 18-over par 594 (296-298) and lead the tournament by two strokes over Nebraska. Rounding out the top three is Chattanooga at 31-over 607.
 
THIRD ROUND TEE TIMES
The third and final round will see the teams begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Texas State will start off on hole No. 1.
