Box Score SAN MARCOS, Texas – Senior Hana Kvapilova picked up a pair of victories in the 6-1 loss to Houston Sunday morning at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
 
Kvapilova and classmate Rishona Israel-Lewis defeated senior Mimi Kendall-Woseley and freshman Laura Slisane 6-4 on the top doubles court for the Bobcats (0-1) only doubles win on the day as the Cougars (4-1) took the doubles point with wins on courts No. 2 and No. 3.
 
In singles play Kvapilova, dropped the first set against junior Sophie Gertis 4-6, but rallied back to win the next two sets 7-5 and 10-3 to get the home team on the scoreboard, but Houston won the remaining five singles flights.

Texas State will return to the Bobcat Tennis Complex for a match against Stephen F. Austin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5.
