NATCHITOCHES, La. –Texas State coasted its way to a fourth consecutive victory with a 7-0 decision vs. Alcorn State on Friday at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex.
 
Juniors Hana Kvapilova , Rishona Israel-Lewis and Andrea Fuchs led the Bobcats (4-1) with a pair of victories on the day and the team blanked the Lady Braves (0-9) in three of five played single flights (No. 6 win by default). Kvapilova is on a six-match winning streak in singles play, R. Israel-Lewis is on a five-match winning streak, and the two as a tandem has won seven straight matches. Fuchs and sophomore Renata Gonzalez are on three-match winning streaks and both blanked their opponents Friday.
 
Texas State will conclude a busy week of matches with an 11 a.m. match on Saturday vs. Northwestern State at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex.
