PRAIRIE VIEW A&M, Texas – Texas State continued its winning streak as it clinched its match at Prairie View A&M 4-0 on Thursday at the PVAMU Tennis Courts.
The Bobcats (3-1) put together two convincing wins on doubles courts No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, vs. the Panthers (0-10). Sophomore

Chacadyah Israel-Lewis got the day started by defeating junior Jimena Castellanos and freshman Anette Lira 6-2 on the second doubles flight. Junior
Andrea Fuchs and freshman
Alyssa Zayat clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 victory over sophomore Claudia Medina and freshman Salma Villalobos on court No. 3. Juniors
Hana Kvapilova and
Rishona Israel-Lewis held a 5-3 advantage on the top court before doubles were clinched.
Zayat blanked Lira to pick up the first singles win on court No. 6 and R. Israel-Lewis defeated Castellanos in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 on the top court. The match came to a close when Kvapilova took care of Victoria Castillo 6-2, 6-3 on court No. 2. Kvapilova has clinched in all three Bobcat victories this season.
Texas State heads to Louisiana where they will challenge Alcorn State at 2 p.m. Friday and Northwestern State at 11 a.m. Saturday. Both matches will be played at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex in Natchitoches, La.
