SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's tennis team (1-1) will have its home opener at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 vs. The University of the Incarnate Word at the Bobcat Tennis Complex. 
 
SCOUTING TEXAS STATE
Juniors Rishona Israel-Lewis and Hana Kvapilova lead the Bobcats with 2-0 records in singles play and are 2-0 as a tandem on the top doubles court. The Bobcats look to improve their winning streak to two matches after a 4-3 victory at Stephen F. Austin earlier this week. Andrea Fuchs and Renata Gonzalez picked up wins in single flights four and six, respectively, to help Texas State get its first win of the spring season.
 
SCOUTING UIW
This will be Incarnate Word's first match vs. a Division I opponent this spring.
