SAN MARCOS, TEXAS - The Texas State women's tennis team looks to even its record at 5-5 when the Bobcats open Sun Belt Conference play with a pair of road matches at Troy on Saturday and at South Alabama on Sunday.

Texas State looks to win its second straight match and their third victory in last four outings after defeating Missouri State 4-3 on March 10 at the Bobcats Tennis Complex. The Bobcats also won 7-0 against Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 17 before falling 6-1 against UTSA on Mar. 19.
Troy enters Saturday's match with a 6-5 record after defeating Bethune-Cookman 4-1 on Mar. 11 in Daytona Beach and winning a 7-0 decision against Grambling State on Mar. 15.
South Alabama enters Saturday's match against UT Arlington with an 11-1 record this season after posting a 7-0 victory over Jackson State on Feb. 27. The Jaguars enter Saturday's match looking to tie a school record with 61 consecutive home wins, a streak that dates back to the 2013 season.
