SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State women's tennis team has added a home match to its 2018 schedule and will host TCU on April 17. First serve against the Horned Frogs is slated for 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
The Bobcats enter Tuesday looking to win their second home match of the season after dropping three straight home matches and four consecutive matches overall. The Bobcats have a 4-13 overall record and are using Tuesday's contest to prepare for the Sun Belt Conference Championship on April 19-22 in Peachtree City, Ga.
TCU has a 9-13 overall record this season after losing eight straight matches, including all seven of its Big 12 contests. The Horned Frogs are looking for their first win in a road match this season, having lost their first three road contests. TCU plays at Iowa State and West Virginia on April 20 and 22, respectively, before traveling to the Big 12 Championship on April 26-29 in Austin.
