CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Texas State men's golf team finished its regular season on Tuesday with a 14^th-place finish at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic that was contested at the Whirlwind Golf Club. For the 54-hole event, the Bobcats shot a 25-over par 889 that included a final round 1-under 287 to finish a stroke better than Wichita State.

Pacing TXST on the links was Logan Davis at 5-over par 221. He fired a team tournament-low 4-under 68 over the final 18 holes. During that round, the junior carded six birdies with three apiece on the front and back nines.

Finishing a shot back of Davis was Inigo Benaran. In the last 36 holes, he recorded 29 pars and three birdies. His low round of the tournament was on Tuesday with an even par 72.

Logan Lockwood concluded his time in Arizona at 7-over par 223. The sophomore followed in Benaran's footsteps and posted a personal tournament low 72 in the final round.

Alvaro Carol Estrems and Calvin Ross finished at 11-over and 16-over, respectively. Estrems carded three birdies in each round while Ross recorded the team's lone eagle of the event in the final round on the 337-yard par 4 fifth hole. His eagle was the fourth of his career and moved him into a tie for the ninth most in program history since 1993.

Winning the team title was UTSA at 22-under par 842. The Roadrunners were four strokes better than Sam Houston State and five ahead of Wyoming. Rounding out the top five was Long Beach State and UC Davis as both programs finished at 10-under 854.

Sean Meehan of UTSA was the lowest scoring individual at 11-under 205 and won by a shot over McNeese's Blake Elliott, the 96^th ranked player in the nation.

Next up for Texas State is the Sun Belt Conference Championships that will take place April 22-25 in Miramar Beach, Florida.
