San Marcos, Texas – If they get a little cooperation from the weather, the Texas State women's tennis team looks to host its first home dual match of the spring when the Bobcats face Eastern Michigan at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Bobcat Tennis Center.
Texas State enters the match looking to win its first dual match in 2018 after dropping five consecutive road matches.
The Bobcats are coming off a 5-2 loss at Northwestern State on Feb. 19 after dropping a 4-1 decision at Louisiana Tech two days later.

Joy Chia Ming Ming won a pair of singles matches at Northwestern State and Texas State won two of the three doubles matches to capture to doubles point against LA Tech. The Bobcats also opened the season with losses at No. 12-ranked Texas, Texas A&M and TCU.
Eastern Michigan began its longest road trip of the season with a 4-3 win at Central Oklahoma to improve its record to 4-3. After playing at Texas State, the Eagles travel to Lamar and play the Cardinals and McNeese State before returning to San Antonio to face UTSA and Trinity on Friday.
Following Wednesday's home match, Texas State returns to the road for a pair of matches at Rice on Feb. 23 and Sam Houston State on Feb. 25.
