SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's golf team announced Monday that the annual Jim West Challenge will be hosted at Kissing Tree Golf Club through 2021.

Lisa Strom said. "Their impact on women's collegiate golf has created tremendous excitement surrounding the Jim West Challenge. Each year we strive to make the tournament bigger and better. By having a three-year commitment with Kissing Tree, we will certainly continue on that path."

"What a great opportunity we have to be able to have the Jim West Challenge at home, in San Marcos and at the beautiful Kissing Tree Golf Club for the next three years," Mr. West said. "Kissing Tree has provided us with the great pleasure of brining the top women's collegiate golf tournament to the beautiful home of Texas State."
The Jim West Challenge is one of the most respected women's collegiate golf tournaments in the country and fields a star-studded group of teams. The commitment by Jim and Carol West, Kissing Tree and Embassy Suites will ensure the continued success of the prestigious tournament.
