NEW ORLEANS, La. – Texas State's
Anne-Charlotte Mora was selected as the co-Sun Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.
The honor, which is shared with Troy's
Fátima Fernández Cano, is Mora first of her career and first by a Bobcat this season.

Anne-Charlotte Mora tied for third at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, posting rounds of 73-68-71 for a 4-under 212 54-holes score … Mora's second-round 68 was a collegiate-best, as was her 4-under 54-hole total ... Both the 68 and 212 total are the best by a Bobcat this championship season … Mora played the par-4 holes 1-under (one of eight to play the holes under par) … She also played the par-5 holes at 3-under, tying for seventh in the field … She totaled 38 pars to rank eighth in the field and 11 birdies (tied for third most) … At the HBU Husky Invitational, Mora shot an opening-round 70 followed by and 80 and 75 for a 225 ( 9) score and sixth-place (tied) finish … Her 70 was team-leading seventh round under par this season … She closed the event co-leading the field in par-4 scoring, playing the holes 1-under and ranked eighth with eight birdies. The tournament performances lowered Mora's season scoring average from 75.05 to 74.50.
Texas State plays its final regular season event on April 3-4 at the Jacksonville University-hosted Web.com Intercollegiate.
