CONWAY, S.C. - Due to inclement weather in Conway/Myrtle Beach area Sunday, the finale of the Texas State-Coastal Carolina softball series has been CANCELLED.

The Bobcats took both games of Saturdays' doubleheader to win the Sun Belt-opening series 2-0. In the two games, Ariel Ortiz combined to go 4-for-7 with three extra base hits and three RBI. Randi Rupp started both contests, totaling 11.0 innings pitched and 13 strikeouts.

The Bobcats will return to action Wednesday (Mar. 15) with a road contest at Houston with first pitch set for 5:30 p.m.
