SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's tennis team looks to even its record to 3-3 when the Bobcats host Incarnate Word at 3 30 p.m. on Friday at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
 
Texas State enters the match with a 2-3 record after dropping three straight matches last weekend against Stephen F. Austin, Northwestern State and Louisiana Tech. Texas State had won its first two matches this season against Prairie View A&M last October and McNeese State on Jan. 29.
 
Incarnate Word enters Friday's match looking to end a six-match skid and improve its record to 3-6. The Cardinals opened the season with wins over Prairie View A&M and Trinity before falling against St. Edward's, UTSA, Colorado State, Pacific, Air Force and Louisiana Tech.
