SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State soccer head coach
Kat Conner announced on Wednesday the addition of
Alex Totilo to the Bobcats' coaching staff.
Â
"I am very excited that Alex will be joining our coaching staff," said Conner. "He brings an attacking point of view that can aid us in breaking down defenses. Alex is an enthusiastic young coach with the knowledge and experience to support our players in expanding their potential."
Â
Totilo has served as a coach at St. Edward's University in Austin since December 2013, helping train and mentor future student-athletes in preparation for the high level of play of collegiate soccer. He also assisted prospective student-athletes and their parents to understand the Hilltoppers' recruiting processes and NCAA compliance rules.
Â
Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Totilo played two seasons at St. Edward's. He appeared in 14 games spanning the 2013 and 2014 seasons, contributing to the Hilltoppers' 28-6-3 record that included an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2014.
Â
Totilo will receive his bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science from Texas State.
