SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Baseball announced the signing of Hebron High School pitcher Nick Fraze from Carrollton, Texas. The 6-foot-3 right-handed pitcher plans to major in business at Texas State.

"We are incredibly excited to add such a talented pitcher in Nick. He is an athletic competitor on the mound and was a proven winner in high school," said Head Coach Ty Harrington. "We know the type of quality character player we're getting because of the way Coach Stone at Hebron and Coach Stout for the Dallas Patriots run their programs. We look forward to Nick competing for a starting role."

Fraze made the Texas High School Baseball Coaches' Association All-State Team at Hebron while also earning First-Team All-District 6-6A honors on the mound. He led his team to a 28-8 finish and the District 6-6A Championship this season. Individually, Fraze went 9-1 with an ERA of just 1.60 and 94 strikeouts.
