BRYAN, Texas – The Texas State women's golf team finished with a team score of 304 Friday afternoon in round two of the NCAA Regional at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas. The Bobcats are currently sitting in 14
th place overall at the event.
Raksha Phadke led the Bobcats in round two with a score of 2-over-par 74. Her round featured four birdies including three on the back nine.
Anne-Charlotte Mora finished with a 75,
Lora Assad carded a 76, and
Maty Monzingo and
Millie Saroha each had a 79.
The Bobcats rattled off 16 birdies in round two. Assad finished her final 13 holes with four birdies and Phadke scattered four birdies as well.
Arizona has taken the lead at the regional after posting a team score of 6-under-par 282. UCLA is sitting in second place just one stroke behind the Wildcats after turning in the tournament-low 279. Georgia dropped two spots after round one.
Bronte Law of UCLA is leading the way with a 9-under-par 135 through two rounds. Bianca Pagdanganan of Gonzaga is in second and Jillian Hollis of Georgia is in third.
Tee times in round three for Texas State begin at 9:00 a.m. off of hole 10. Monzingo has the first tee time and Mora will round out the squad at 9:40 a.m. Live scoring will be available at
