On the Ragin' CajunsThe Cajuns are on a streak of just one win coming into the series, beating McNeese State in this week's midweek after dropping a Sunday game to conference foe UT Arlington. However, before that, UL Lafayette had won six consecutive and 12 of the team's last 13 games. UL Lafayette has only dropped one game each to Western Kentucky and UT Arlington in conference play. The Bobcats are a combined 5-1 against those two teams.
The Ragin' Cajuns are a team that just seems to do everything well. They are fielding at a rate of .977 with just 39 errors on the season. They have seven batters above .300 with Jace Conrad and Caleb Adams leading the way at .399 and .390 respectively. Finally, they're pitching staff boasts an earned run average of just 3.10 compared to an opponents' ERA of 7.56.
To top it all off, UL Lafayette is 8-1 in conference play at home and 21-4 on the season on the team's home field.

After that, it's another midweek at Texas and finish up at UT Arlington before the SBC Tournament in Mobile, Ala.
