Box Score

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Texas State women's basketball team used a 13-4 run at the start of the second half to cut the Arkansas State lead to three, but could not maintain momentum on Saturday afternoon as it fell by a score of 74-55.

Erin Peoples led the Bobcats (12-13, 9-5 SBC) with 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting while Ashley Ezeh led the team in rebounds with six.

With a Western Kentucky victory earlier in the afternoon, Texas State is now tied for second-place in the Sun Belt Conference standings. UALR and Georgia State will also bump up to be in the tie for second with victories.
