SAN MARCOS, Texas – After beginning the conference season on the road, the Texas State soccer team returns to the Bobcat Soccer Complex for a five-game home stand that begins with Sun Belt Conference newcomer Appalachian State Sunday afternoon. Texas State is currently 7-3-1 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play.

Player To Watch: Lynsey Curry
With three goals in two games last weekend, junior forward Lynsey Curry was named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week as she lifted the Bobcats to a pair of victories to begin the 2014 conference season.

"I'm very excited on the first week of conference to win this award," said Curry. "I finished a couple of my chances, and that's why I was awarded this great opportunity. I couldn't have done it without my teammates."

Curry, a native of Cypress, Texas, is quickly finding herself on many of the top Bobcat charts. Last season, with 79 shots, she set the school record for number of shots in a season. With four goals so far this season, Curry finds herself just three goals shy of cracking the top-five for all-time goals in a career.
