Waco, Texas – Thunderstorms did not allow even an inning of baseball to be played on Tuesday afternoon in Waco as Texas State and Baylor had their game cancelled due to rain and lightning. The game will not be made up.
The game was put on hold with two outs in the bottom of the first inning and a 0-0 score when lightning forced the teams to their dugouts before the game was called due to rain and field conditions.
Texas State will head to Corpus Christi on Thursday for the first of three games with the Islanders at Chapman Field. First pitch of Thursday's game will be at 6:30 p.m.
