San Marcos, Texas – Texas State will get a visit from No. 16 Oregon on Tuesday when the two teams meet for the first time ever at Bobcat Ballpark. The Bobcats and Ducks will play a two-game set beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday before quickly turning around for a noon game on Wednesday.

Texas State will look to rebound from a series sweep over the weekend against Sam Houston State that dropped the team's record to 14-9 this season. The Bobcats are 9-2 in homes games this season and 3-2 in midweek games against ranked opponents.

Oregon comes in this week with a 15-6 overall record after winning two of three games last weekend against Utah. The Ducks have an 8-3 record outside of Eugene in 2012.
