Game Notes

San Marcos, Texas - The Texas State soccer team plays its last two home game of the regular season this weekend, taking on McNeese and Lamar. The Bobcats enter the weekend in a tie for second in the Southland Conference with Lamar at 4-1-0.

Last weekend Texas State went 2-0 on the road, beating both Northwestern State and Central Arkansas 2-0. Felicia Leask earned Southland Conference Player of the Week honors for the second straight week after scoring a goal and adding two assists.

McNeese State enters Friday's play 2-3 in conference games.  The Cowgirls got off to a fast start, before losing both games last weekend to Sam Houston State and Stephen F. Austin.

Like Texas State, Lamar's only loss of the conference season has been to Stephen F. Austin by a score of 1-0. The Cardinals began SLC play 4-0 before the meeting with SFA last Sunday.
