Scouting Texas State
Texas State (4-4-0) is riding a three-game win streak into this weekend. In its past three games, Texas State has allowed only one goal. They have outscored their opponents 12-1 and have limited their foes to 14 shots, compared to the 49 by Texas State.

Goalkeeper Lauren Frazier had a little easier week, due to the help of the Bobcat defenders. The defenders were superb in holding Prairie View A&M shotless, and limiting Houston Baptist to four shots.

Scouting TCU
TCU (4-4-1) is coming off a 1-0 loss to Ole Miss on Sunday. The Horned Frogs began the week with a 3-0 shutout of then No. 18 Memphis on last Friday.

Both Kaylie Garcia and Jordan Calhoun have three goals apiece for TCU. Sharing time in the net are Kelsey Waters and Kira Bartlett with a pair of wins each.

Curry Repeats as SLC Offensive Player of the Week

Texas State senior forward Britney Curry was named the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday. It's Curry's second honor in as many weeks. She led Texas State to a 2-0 record this past weekend. Curry is the only Bobcat to earn SLC weekly honors so far this season.

The senior forward scored three goals and recorded one assist over the weekend to lead Texas State to its third straight win. Curry led a Bobcat offense that dominated Prairie View A&M to capture a 5-0 win, where she scored a pair of goals in the victory. She made it a four-game scoring streak on Sunday, when she registered the Bobcats first goal of the game to lead Texas State to a 3-1 win over Houston Baptist. Curry scored three goals in five shot attempts.

Earning honorable mention honors were Kelsey Bernard for defensive player and Lauren Frazier for goalkeeper accolades.
