Game Notes

San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State women's soccer team returns to the Bobcat Soccer Complex on Friday, Oct. 8 to host Central Arkansas in a 7:00 p.m. game. The Bobcats will play Northwestern State on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 1:00 p.m. Sunday is also Kids Day. Kids can enjoy face paint, the bounce house and much more.

Scouting Texas State
Texas State (6-5-0) suffered a 1-0 loss to UTSA on the road, to record its first loss to an SLC opponent since 2007. The loss snapped a four-game win streak by the Bobcats.

Senior Britney Curry leads Texas State with nine goals and two assists. 

Scouting Central Arkansas
Central Arkansas (4-5-2, 0-1-1 SLC) is coming off a 0-1-1 weekend. The Bears suffered a 3-2 loss to Sam Houston State on opening weekend, before recording a 1-1 tie against Stephen F.  Austin.

Both Brittany Kemper and Kristin Pollard have scored three goals apiece for the Bears. Kelsey Gochnauer has started all 11 games in the net for UCA.

Scouting Northwestern State
Northwestern State (6-7-0, 1-1-0 SLC) picked up a 2-1 win over Sam Houston State last weekend.

Pippi Haase leads the Lady Demons with three goals on the season. Jessica Danku has recorded the most minutes in the net for the Lady Demons and has registered two goals.

Texas State will travel to Lamar on Friday, Oct. 15 to face the Cardinals in a 7:00 p.m. match-up.  On Sunday Oct. 17, Texas State will play McNeese State at 1:00 p.m.
