Texas State Athletics

Junior (2017) – Started in 14 games on the hill during his first season with Texas State . . . compiled a 5.76 ERA and a 1-8 record . . . was third on the team with 54.2 innings pitched . . . added 36 strikeouts . . . had a season-high seven K’s in a win over Prairie View A&M (April 4) . . . also threw a season-long 8.0 innings against the Panthers.

Trinidad State Junior College (2015-16) – Competed for two seasons at TSJC, which is a member of Region IX and plays at the NJCAA Division I level . . . made 26 appearances on the mound, which included 15 starts . . . posted an 8-3 record and a 4.62 ERA in 101.1 innings pitched . . . also tallied 79 strikeouts to just 25 walks . . . helped lead the Trojans to a 79-40 overall record and a 50-23 conference mark in his two seasons . . . Trinidad State won back-to-back Region IX Tournament Championships and competed in two Western District Championships.
 
Raton High School – Was a two-time all-state performer, while also earning all-district laurels . . . led the state of New Mexico in strikeouts and threw three no-hitters during his senior season . . . also led the state in RBI’s as a senior . . . was an all-district quarterback as a member of the football team . . . graduated No. 11 overall in his high school class, and was a member of FFCLA.
