SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State placed 15 student-athletes on the Athlon Sports 2026 Preseason All-Pac-12 Teams, highlighted by three first-team offensive selections and a first-team specialist.
Leading the way for the Bobcats were quarterback
Brad Jackson, wide receivers
Chris Dawn, Jr. and
Beau Sparks, who each earned First Team All-Pac-12 recognition on offense. Return specialist
Jaylen Jenkins was also named to the First Team as the conference's kickoff return specialist.
Texas State enters its first year as a member of the Pac-12 with seven home games scheduled at UFCU Stadium. The Bobcats open the season on the road against Texas before returning to San Marcos for a highly anticipated home slate that includes matchups against UTSA, North Texas, Colorado State, Utah State, Fresno State and Washington State.
Single-game and season tickets for the 2026 campaign are now available through
Texas State Athletics Ticket Office and include admission to all seven home games at UFCU Stadium. Additional four-pack and mini-plans are available as well.

The Bobcats rounded out the preseason honors with six Fourth Team selections, including running back

Chancellor Owens, linebacker
Javante Mackey, along with additional recognition across the defensive front.
Athlon Sports' preseason all-conference teams are selected by Senior College Football Editor Steven Lassan and are based on projected performance during the upcoming season.
