Four Bobcats Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Four members of the Texas State football team were named to this year's Hampshire Honor Society presented by the National Football Foundation. The 2026 list celebrates 20 years of honoring football student-athletes for their academic accomplishments and performance on the field.

The Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and sprint football who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. Players must have been a starter or significant contributor throughout the 2025 season and must be a senior play, who will graduate this spring/summer, and just completed his final year of playing eligibility in 2025; or a graduate player/grad transfer, who has already earned a bachelor's degree and competed in the 2025 season (even if the player has remaining eligibility and may return to play next season).

The four total honorees is the second highest total for the Bobcats in the 20-year history behind last year's record eight.
