SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Athletics and Texas State football have announced game themes and promotional dates for the 2026 home football slate. With seven home games at UFCU Stadium this season, featuring fan favorites like Family Day, Homecoming and so much more, TXST has something on the schedule for every Bobcat fan!
Following the highly anticipated home-opening I-35 Showdown with UTSA on Sept. 12, the Bobcats welcome North Texas to UFCU Stadium for a First Responder Bowl rematch and Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day. The third of three-straight home contests in September welcomes in-state foe UIW to town for Family Weekend on Sept. 26.
The Bobcats return home for back-to-back contests featuring Bobcats Blackout vs. Colorado State (Oct. 17 or Oct. 15) and Homecoming vs. Utah State (Oct. 24).
The final two home games on the regular season schedule are jam packed. On Nov. 14 against Fresno State, we recognize Heroes Day and Community Day and on Nov. 21 against Washington State we honor our Bobcat seniors and celebrate the 2026 "T" Association Hall of Honor inductees for "T" Association Weekend.
