DESTIN, Florida – Three of the five golfers in the TXST lineup shot under par on day two of the Sandestin Collegiate Classic, with
Sakke Siltala leading the group at 2-under for the tournament with 18 holes to play.
Siltala (70-70--140) is tied for 22nd, just two strokes back from the current top 10, and has carded 11 birdies over the first 36 holes, the second highest total on the week.
As a team, the Bobcats matched their opening round with a 1-under second 18 and are -2 for the tournament. West Florida, the 2025 NCAA Division II National Champions, climbed three spots on the leaderboard after going -11 on the day to lead the field heading into the final day. Middle Tennessee is second at -14 and ULM third at -13.
Both
Ben Loveard (72-70--142) and
Bryce Womack (72-70--142) carded 70s on Tuesday to bring their 36-hole totals to even par and place them in a tie for 36th, while
Jose Manuel Berenguel Casas (70-73--143) and
Enzo Dakiche (71-73--144) checked in at +2 to sit tied for 40th and tied for 44th, respectively.
