Guerra finished seventh at the 2024 UIL 5A State Golf Championship and was ranked No. 140 in his class nationally at signing on the Junior Golf Scoreboard. From September 2023 through May 2024, Guerra had three Legends Junior Tour top 10 finishes and placed sixth at the 2023 Texas Junior Golf Tour Thanksgiving Showdown.
