LEWISVILLE, Texas – Texas State's Lincoln Pare and Kalil Alexander we're named to Dave Campbell's Texas Football's preseason All-Texas Teams, as announced by the organization Monday.

Lincoln Pare | RB | Redshirt-Senior | Germantown, Tenn. | Second Team Running Back
The 2025 First Responder Bowl MVP and 2024 College Sports Communicators Comeback Award List nominee, played in all 13 games in 2024 and led the Bobcats with eight rushing TDs (8th SBC) off 95 carries and 554 yards. He was third on the team in total offense and fifth with 688 all-purpose yards.

Kalil Alexander | DE | Redshirt- Senior | Charlotte, N.C. | Second Team Utility
Alexander played in all 13 games, making five starts in 2024. He registered 39 tackles (14 solo) and led the Bobcats in both TFLs with 11 for 49 yards and sacks with 6.5 for 40 yards (0.50 sacks/game ranked 5th SBC). Alexander added two fumble recoveries (19th NCAA, 2nd SBC) and had two break-ups and five QB hurries.
