NEW ORLEANS – Texas State was represented on the All-Sun Belt Conference teams by Austin Eaton and Chase Mora, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. It is the first time the Bobcats have had multiple all-conference selections since 2022.

Eaton was chosen to the All-Sun Belt First Team at the utility position. The two-way player posted a 4-3 record on the mound with a 4.12 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 43.2 innings over 12 games, including 10 starts. In league play, he had a 2-1 mark, 2.55 ERA and 15 punch outs over 17.2 innings in five contests that saw him make three starts.

The Frisco, Texas native also appeared in the lineup as the designated hitter and first baseman. He batted .213 (16-for-75) with four home runs, one double, 13 RBI and 10 runs. Eaton's biggest home run was a three-run long ball that put TXST up for good in the upset win at No. 1 Texas A&M.

Mora was named to the All-Sun Belt Second team at third base. He played and started all 55 games for the Bobcats. The Tomball, Texas native led the team with a .294 average, 63 hits, 44 RBI, 41 runs, 14 doubles and eight homers. He was 12-for-15 stealing bases with all of them coming against conference opponents.

The junior ended the regular season moving up the program's career lists. Mora is second in RBI (150), tied for third in home runs (31), ninth in both doubles (38) and total bases (318) and tied for 14th in hits (181).

Texas State opens the Sun Belt Championship on Tuesday when it takes on 10th-seed App State at 3 p.m. from Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama.
