BRYAN, Texas – Yvonne Chamness continued her successful 2024-25 campaign by placing third at The "Mo" Morial held at the Traditions Club in Bryan-College Station. With the finish, the junior now has four top three finishes in 10 outings for the Bobcats.
TXST (305-314-208--927) finished tied for fifth at the event, its fourth top five finish of the season, shooting +63 to sit even with Oral Roberts. Host Texas A&M, which currently occupies the No. 20 spot among the nation's top 25, took home the team title at +16. Northern Colorado (+54), Abilene Christian (+59) and No. 32 Baylor (+60) finished in order ahead of the Bobcats.
Chamness (73-71-77--221) led Texas State in two of three rounds concluding the event 5-over by carding six birdies and finishing as one of only three players to record an eagle.
Mattingly Palmer (77-81-75--233) picked up her fourth overall and second consecutive finish in the top 25 tying for 19th after leading the Bobcats at +3 on the final day en route to a 17-over total across 54 holes.

The Bobcats next take on the field at the Sun Belt Conference Championships. The four-day event will be hosted at the Lakewood Golf Club in Point Clear, Alabama, April 14-17.
