Â
Over the last six innings, Colby Diaz, Josh Glaser, Dylan Kerbow and Jackson Mayo combined to keep Troy off the scoreboard and gave up just one hit. Â
The Trojans put up four runs in the first and five runs in the second for the early advantage.
Â
Park started the third by reaching on a fielding error by the third baseman. Shibley followed with a double off the left field wall and Farber was then plunked to load the bases. Two batters later, DeFury drew a walk to bring in the Bobcats' first run of the game.
Â
A 1-1 offering was sent back up the middle by Munguia that brought home two more runs. The final run of the game came when Kummer flew out to right field. DeFury tagged and advanced to third but the throw to the base was wildly off target that allowed the junior first baseman to score.
Â
