SAN MARCOS, Texas— Texas State women's basketball heads back out on the road for two games at Louisiana and Arkansas State this weekend.

Texas State will start the trip in Lafayette against the Ragin' Cajuns on Feb. 12 at 5 pm. The team will then head to Jonesboro to take on Arkansas State on Feb. 15 at noon. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
With the Ragin' Cajuns:
- Texas State has an 11-18 record all-time against the Ragin' Cajuns.
- Louisiana won both meeting between the two teams in 2023-24 by 59-52 and 55-50 scorelines.

- Texas State was picked to finish 10th in the Sun Belt Conference preseason poll. Last season the Bobcats finished 4-14 in conference which that saw them finish 13th in the regular season standings.
- After week seven of conference play, the Bobcats are 4-8 and sit in 10th place in the Sun Belt.
ABOUT THE RAGIN CAJUNS
- Louisiana is currently 10-12 this season and 6-6 in conference play.
- The Ragin Cajuns are coming off 60-59 overtime loss in the MAC-SBC Challenge to Miami (OH) last week.
- The Ragin Cajuns are led by 13th year head coach Garry Broadhead who carries a 212-177 record in his time in Louisiana.
- The Ragin Cajuns leading scorer is Erica Lafayette who has 330 points so far this season, averaging 15.0 a night. She's the lone player to average double digits this season.

ABOUT THE RED WOLVES
- Arkansas State are currently 15-8 this season and 11-1 in conference play. They are coming off a 75-73 loss to Bowling Green last week.Â

Texas State will return home next week for its final two home games of the regular season. The Bobcats will host Louisiana on Feb. 12 at 5 pm and Southern Miss on Feb. 22 at 2 pm. The game versus Southern Miss will be the Bobcats Graduate Night where the team will honor all of its players graduating the program.
