NEW ORLEANS, La. – Marine Griffaut registered a top-five finish as an individual and Hailey Jones and Junia Gabasa placed in the top-18 as Texas State women's golf finished ninth as a team at the Tulane Classic held at the English Turn Golf & Country Club (Par 72, 6,224 yards).
 
Griffaut shot 2-over 218 (70-74-74) to place fifth in the 100-player field. It was the senior's fourth career top-five finish and best placing since she was fifth at The Show in Las Vegas in February 2023.
 
The Bobcats' lineup was powered by Jones and Gabasa, who were tied for 11th and 18th, respectively. Jones had her third top-15 finish of the season after she shot 6-over 222 (72-74-76). Gabasa, meanwhile, carded a 7-over 223 (75-72-76).
 
As a team, Texas State shot 51-over 915 (307-304-304). All teams finished over par for the tournament, including the winner Colorado State (18-over, 882).
 
Carla Bourdeaux had the best final round of any Bobcat. The freshman carded a 3-over 75 on Tuesday and climbed 11 spots on the leaderboard.
 
The Bobcats will return to action with the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Manoa, Hawaii starting on Sunday. The three-day tournament will run through Tuesday, March 19.
