HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado – The Texas State women's golf team closed out action on the second day of the Ron Moore Intercollegiate at the University of Denver Golf Course.
Yvonne Chamness continued to pace the Bobcats, finishing at 3-under 69 on the day to move her two-round total to -7. The junior improved one spot on the individual leaderboard and now sits tied for second entering the final day of competition, three strokes back from the event leader.
Freshman
Ella Salama concluded her second round at +6 to bring her to 2-over for the tournament, good for a tied for 28th.
Fia Lindblom stayed consistent across the first two rounds, firing her second +3 of the weekend, a score that puts her at 6-over and in a tie for 50th.
Rounding out the scoring for the Bobcats in round two was
Mattingly Palmer, who finished 8-over.
Carla Bourdeaux finished the day at +9.
The Bobcats currently sit 10th at +9 with 18 holes to play. The final round will tee off with a 9:30 a.m. CT/8:30 a.m. MT shotgun start Sunday.
