SAN MARCOS, Texas — The Texas State Athletics Department announced the broadcast schedule for the 2024 Texas State Softball season.
The schedule will feature 22 Texas State softball broadcasts on ESPN+ from inside Bobcat Softball Stadium, including all 12 home matches against Sun Belt Conference opponents. Additionally, the Bobcats non-conference matchups versus UTSA, Northwestern State, Kennesaw State, SIU, Sam Houston, Penn State, Texas A&M and Baylor will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Neutral site games in both weekends of the Texas State Tournament and the Bobcats road tournaments at Arizona State/Grand Canyon and Texas Tech will not be broadcast.

Brant Freeman will be the Bobcats' play-by-play voice during home games, with a group of analysts including three-time Olympic Medalist Cat Osterman, former Texas State first baseman Hailey Mackay, and former Oklahoma utility player Nicole Mendes.
The 2024 Texas State softball regular season begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March. 8, when the Bobcats face I-35 rival UTSA for the opening of weekend one of the Texas State Tournament.Â
