Texas State football renews the I-35 Rivalry with UTSA this Saturday at the Alamodome. Volleyball continues their homestand by hosting the Bobcat Classic. Soccer returns home to host Texas Southern for one of their final non-conference matches. Men's golf and tennis open their fall seasons on the road.

Texas State football opened the 2023 season with the program's first win over a "Power 5" opponent when they took a 42-31 victory over Baylor. Texas State will travel south to play at UTSA and renew the I-35 Rivalry with the Roadrunners on Saturday. The Bobcats have not faced UTSA since 2020 when the two squared off in San Marcos.

Volleyball hosted the Texas State Invitational where they earned two three-straight wins, including one over #13 Houston. The Bobcats continue the homestand by hosting the Bobcat Classic where they will play host to Abilene Christian, Southeastern Louisiana and California. The Bobcats will open the classic on Sept. 7 versus Southeastern Louisiana inside Strahan Arena.

Soccer returns to San Marcos following a 3-1 win against HCU to host Texas Southern on Thursday for TXST Trivia and Wear Maroon Night. On Sunday, the Bobcats will face Houston on the road for its final non-conference match of the season.

After ending last season with a postseason win at the National Golf Invitational, Texas State men's golf accepted an invitation to compete at the Mirabel Intercollegiate presented by Maui Jim. The Bobcats will open the season with this tournament Sept. 8-10 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Islander Open
Corpus Christi, Texas
Following a season of eight wins, the most since 2017, Tennis opens the 2023 fall tournament season on the road. The Bobcats will be competing in the Islander Open, hosted by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from Sept. 8-10.
