SAN MARCOS, Texas – Three goals in nearly 11 minutes was enough for Oklahoma State (4-1-0) to claim a 3-0 victory over Texas State (2-3-0) Thursday night at the Bobcat Soccer Complex.

The Bobcats were outshot 15-7 and saw the Cowgirls hold a 12-3 advantage in corner kicks. OSU's corner kick total tied for the fourth most ever against TXST.

Bailey Peschel was the lone Bobcat with multiple shot attempts on the night with two, including one being on frame.

In goal, Kaitlyn Chrisman made six saves in 80 minutes of action.
Caitlyn Draper came on for the final 10 minutes and did not face a shot.

OSU got on the board first late in the 13th minute as Morgan Haines sent in a low cross from the near side. Logan Heausler got her back heel on the ball to send it over to Hannah Chance, who put the ball into the back of the net.

Ellie Geoffroy chested down a corner kick sent in by Xcaret Pineda and poked it over the line to increase the visitor's advantage to two goals early in the 23rd minute. A penalty kick just over a minute later by Pineda complete the scoring on the night.

Texas State had a chance to go up a little over 90 seconds into the match off a corner kick. The ball eventually got worked around to
Chloe Jones, but her shot when wide left of the goal.
Alexis Neal also had a try in the 29th minute when her shot from inside the penalty area sailed just over the crossbar.

Next up for the Bobcats is a trip to Houston to take on Houston Christian on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Sorrels Field.
