The 2023-24 Texas State Athletics year begins with soccer hosting two matches and volleyball welcoming UTSA for an exhibition match in Strahan Arena.

Soccer will face McNeese in their Blackout home opener on Thursday at the Bobcat Soccer Complex at 7:30 p.m., where the first 100 fans will receive TXST black t-shirts. The Bobcats close out the weekend at home against Central Arkansas at 1 p.m. for Women's World Cup Day, fans are encouraged to wear national team jerseys. 
 
Volleyball 
Saturday, August 19—vs UTSA (Exhibition)

After winning the Sun Belt West Division and finishing second overall in the league last season, volleyball will begin the 2023 season with an exhibition match against UTSA on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Strahan Arena.
