SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's golf returns to the course for the Chevron Silverado Showdown hosted by Colorado and Oregon, April 3-5 in Napa, California. This is the final tournament for the Bobcats before the Sun Belt Conference Championship. 
 
The individual medalist from the Silverado Showdown will receive an invitation to participate as an amateur in the Chevron Championship, the first LPGA Major of the season, scheduled for April 20-23 in The Woodlands, Texas. 
 
All teams competing in the Showdown are ranked in the top-100, with eight in the top-25. 
 
In their last outing, women's golf finished 10^th at the Trinity Forest Invitational where Matilda Svahn and Yvonne Chamness were the top finishers in the Bobcat lineup.
