PALM DESERT, Calif. – Kasper Nyland moved into a tie for third on the second day of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club and Texas State remains in the top-10.
Texas State fell one spot on the leaderboard to 10
th place after going nine-over in the second round. The Bobcats second round 18-hole total 297 was two-strokes higher than its first round. Texas State has a one-stroke lead that is keeping them in the top-10.
Kasper Nyland shot his second round of one-under 71 for today's round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, to put him at two-under overall. This is the junior's fifth round of 71 this season. Nyland moved into a four-way tie for third and is four strokes behind the two leaders in a tie for first.
Jack Burke took the largest fall on the leaderboard after recording four bogeys to finish the second round three-over 75.
Sakke Siltala also finished the day three-over and is tied for 49
th alongside
Terrin Anderson.
