SAN MARCOS, Texas — For the first time this calendar year, Texas State women's basketball will hit the road as it will play at ULM on Thursday (6:30 pm) followed by a matchup at South Alabama on Saturday (1 pm).
The Bobcats have won two straight and three of their last four to enter the week and are sitting in a tie for fourth in the Sun Belt standings. They are one game back of second and two of first.
This week's matchups will be the first of the season against ULM (6-11, 2-4 Sun Belt) and South Alabama (4-13, 0-6 Sun Belt). The Bobcats hold a seven-game winning streak over ULM and won won last year's contest against South Alabama. The Jaguars, though, have won two of the last three in the series.

IN THE MARGINS
- Texas State is coming off a 34-point win over Arkansas State last Saturday (89-55), which is the Bobcats' largest margin of victory against a Sun Belt opponent in nearly five years.
