States Up Podcast: Musician and Wide Receiver Toe Groves

The native of Nashville shares about his emerging rap career and playing style on the field

SAN MARCOS, Texas - In the newest episode of the States Up podcast, Texas State football's Rontavius Groves discusses his path to Texas State as a transfer as well as his passion away from the field: his rap career.

The Nashville native, who goes by Stunnaman when he is rapping, has launched his music career while being a student-athlete. With a YouTube channel and the desire to always perfect his craft, he discusses his process and how he finds inspiration to write songs. He also gives insight into his playing style on the field as well as how he got his nickname "Toe."
