Isiah Small prior to tipoff.

LOOKING AT THE BOBCATS
Thursday saw the Bobcats lead wire-to-wire in a win over Arkansas State that kept them atop the Sun Belt Conference standings. TXST made a season-high 29 free throws, the most since Jan. 9, 2020 at home against Coastal Carolina that also saw the team convert 29 charity stripe attempts. Harrell led the way with 21 points for his second 20-point game over the last three contests. Small contributed 19 points behind an 8-for-8 night at the free throw line while Asberry and Adams netted 14 and 13 points, respectively.
SCOUTING LITTLE ROCK
Coming into Saturday, the Trojans have lost six of their last seven games. The lone win came last Saturday at Troy by the score of 66-62. It was LR's first true road win this season having dropped the first nine.
Maric Nikola has been limited to 11 games but leads the team in scoring (14.6 ppg), rebounding (6.4 rpg) and field goal percentage (53.1%). Isaiah Palermo is the only other current player averaging double-figures at 12.1 ppg. The top threat from beyond the arc is Jovan Stulic, who has made 32 three-pointers and is knocking them down at a 41.6% clip.
SERIES HISTORY
Texas State leads the all-time series 12-9 after taking the first meeting 69-59 back on Jan. 20. The Bobcats have won six straight and 10 of the last 11 matchups. The lone loss in that stretch came on Jan. 2, 2020 on the road by a score of 72-68. When hosting the Trojans, the Bobcats are 7-3 with five straight victories.
