Coral Gables, Fla. – Marine Griffaut tied for seventh after two rounds at the Hurricane Invitational recording her third round in the 60s of the season, as a team Texas State is in 11^th.
 
TEAM
After 36-holes of play Texas State is 11^th among 12 teams. The Bobcats ended the first round in 12^th going seven-over par. The team saw a two-stroke improvement in round two to be 12-over par to end the day. 
 
UNLV is in first with 12-under par in a field of five teams ranked in the top 50, with SMU and Kent State in the top 15. 
 
INDIVIDUAL
Marine Griffaut paced the Bobcats in both rounds today and was the only one to stay under par. The junior went even in the first round and tied for 23^rd, she climbed the leaderboard 16 spots after shooting three-under and recorded her third round in the 60s in the season. 
 
Federica Tavelli-Westerlund follows shooting four-over par. In the first round the junior had a double bogey but managed to stay one-over par in the second with four birdies. 
 
Mattingly Palmer moved up 12 spots in the second round after going one-over 73.

For the third and final round of the Hurricane Invitational Texas State will tee off at 7:30 a.m. CT with New Mexico and Augusta.
