With the result, the Bobcats drop to 7-7-2 overall and 4-5-1 in Sun Belt Conference play while the Warhawks are 11-3-2 and 4-3-1 in conference play. TXST best possible finish in the standings is now sixth and as low as 10th.

ULM struck first at the end of the 19th minute when Kathryn Yarbrough knocked in a loose ball.

Zoe Junior nearly knotted the score in the 43rd minute. Her shot hit the bottom of the crossbar, bounced back into the field of play and cleared away.

The Bobcats put pressure on the Warhawk defense at the beginning of the second half but only got one shot off by Junior that was stopped.

A bad clearance allowed ULM to increase its lead in the 54th minute. Nearly 90 seconds later, a headed in cross by the Warhawks put them ahead 3-0.

Putting pressure on the visitors' backline, Junior stole the ball from the defender. The freshman was able to avoid the charging goalie and slotted home her first collegiate goal to cut the deficit to two.

The Bobcats would take six more shots in the half but just one by Junior during the 83rd minute would be on frame.

Mya Ulloa and Junior took four shots on the night. Only other player attempt multiple shots was
Bailey Peschel with two.

Next up for TXST is the Sun Belt Championship that takes place Nov. 1-7 in Foley, Alabama. The bracket will be released following the match between Troy and ULM Thursday afternoon.
