- McDowell notched her team-leading 13th multi-hit game of the season. She finished 2-for-3 with a walk, one run scored, and one run batted in.
- Cranek converted two hits in her three plate appearances and drove in one run out of the ninth spot in the lineup.

NOTABLES
- The victory gives Texas State an 8-3 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools. TXST has secured a W in six-straight contests against LU with the last loss coming in 1987.
- Oltmann extended her team lead in runs batted in with her 26th RBI in the bottom of the first inning.
- The six-game winning streak is the longest streak for the Bobcats since winning nine consecutive from March 30-April 15, 2018.
THOUGHTS FROM THE DUGOUT
- "Any time you are able to get a little win-streak going you are getting to the place where you want to be as a ball club," head coach
Ricci Woodard said. "Our goal is to be playing our best in May. We are not quite where we want to be, but we are in the win column. That is a good start."
ON DECK
- The Bobcats will remain at home for a three-game weekend series against Georgia State. Game one will start with a 6 p.m. first pitch on March 29.
