SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's basketball will be back on the road for a weekend series with Arkansas State and Little Rock. The Bobcats will take on the Red Wolves on Jan. 11 inside the First National Bank Arena. Opening tip is scheduled for 5 p.m. CDT.

Last Time Out for the Bobcats
• Texas State escaped the Troy Trojans on Jan. 6 with a win, 83-75, inside of Strahan Coliseum to improve to 3-1 in Sun Belt Conference play, 10-5 overall.
• For the third time in as many games, Toshua Leavitt led the offensive attack for the Bobcats. The junior guard notched her seventh 20-point outing of the season, netting 23 points.
Taeler Deer and Ericka May both registered their second double-doubles of the season. Deer matched Leavitt's scoring mark, putting home 23 points and also handed out 10 assists. May turned in her best offensive output of the season, scoring 15 points to go along with a team-high 11 rebounds.
• Ti'Aira Pitts chipped in 11 points in limited minutes due to early foul trouble, giving the Bobcats four players in double figures for the fourth time this season.

Leavitt Earns SBC Player of the Week Honors
• For the second time this season, Toshua Leavitt was named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week on Jan. 8, 2018.
• Leavitt led the Bobcats with 28 points in the victory over South Alabama, burying six triples. Against Troy, Leavitt notched 23 points, canning her first seven 3-point attempts of the contest. The game marked the seventh time in which the junior guard has made at least six 3-point attempts during the 2017-18 campaign.
• She is just the second player this season to be honored by the conference twice, joining Coastal Carolina guard Jas Adams.

Shooting into the Record Books
• Texas State drilled a school-record 16-of-28 attempts in the win over Sam Houston State on Dec. 17. In total, the Bobcats have made 10+ 3-point field goals in nine games this season.
Toshua Leavitt has torched the nets all season, including knocking down a school-record 10 3-point field goals in the loss to Coastal Carolina. Her record setting day also matched Mari Sanchez's Sun Belt Conference record, who made 10 3-pointers on Feb. 23, 2003.
• Leavitt has drilled 69 shots from deep this season. Her 4.60 made triples per contest leads the NCAA and is on pace to top the NCAA record of 4.50 makes per game set by Alabama State's Lisa McMullen during the 1990-91 campaign.
• The 69 made 3-pointers lead the NCAA and ranks third in school history for a single season. She stands just 13 shots back of current record holder, Joyce Ekworomadu, who connected on 82 triples during the 2007-08 season.

Deer Joins the 1,000-Point 300-Assist Club
• Deer was honored before the South Alabama contest for reaching 1,000 career points. She scored 29 points, her second-highest output of the season, against Appalachian State to push her over the 1,000-point barrier.
• Deer became the 16th player in program history, and just the fifth player under head coach Zenarae Antoine to eclipse this milestone, joining: Erin Peoples, Ayriel Anderson, Ashley Azeh and Diamond Ford.
• After nearly posting a triple-double line of 11 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in the win over South Alabama, Deer joined an even more exclusive club.
• The senior guard has now amassed 1,041 points and 311 assists in her career, a feat only obtained by two other women's basketball players in Texas State history. Shelley Borton (1986-90) piled up 1,893 points and a school-record 595 assists during her outstanding playing career. Ayriel Anderson (2012-16) posted 1,149 points and 348 assists.

Quest for 100
• With the victory over Troy, Coach Z notched career win No. 98 as the head coach of the Texas State women's basketball team. Only three coaches in program history have guided the women's basketball program to 100 wins: Suzanne Fox (1997-2011), Judy Rinker (1966-75) and Linda Sharp (1989-1997). In her first season at Texas State, the 2011-12 campaign, she led one of the best turnarounds in school history, taking a 9-20 team the year before, to 17-14, including the school's first conference tournament win since 2003. During her run at TXST, Coach Z has averaged nearly 15 wins per season and has taken the Bobcats to the WBI in three of the last four seasons.
